What To Use For Lettuce?

Hey everyone,


 


So due to the fact that spinach and kale (eaten raw) are not necessarily ideal due to Oxalic acid content and blocked nutrient absorption, what are people using for lettuce in salads?


 


My due diligence has taught me that this isn't a HUGE deal if not eaten over-regularly, but still not exactly BP and ought to be cooked. --- This raises the question: Should we be eating mixed greens/arugula or even just plain iceberg and load our salads up with extra veggies and fats and forego the potential nutrients of kale and spinach?
