Effortless Superhuman? Vs. Bbs?
has anyone tried following the "Effortless Superhuman" protocol mentioned in 4 hour body? if so, what was your experience with it like?
one excerpt from 4 hour body is a guy talking about how strength training once a week and training to failure (BBS) is not good for athletes because recovery interferes with skill practice. i'm not sure i agree with that entirely, or if it is all that relevant to what i do. granted, i do my BBS workout thursdays and am usually not feeling 100% when i teach my classes on Saturdays, but i don't need to be at 100% strength to play capoeira well since it is more about technique/strategy/efficient movement. still, i am kind of curious about the suggestions from that chapter and might consider experimenting with them at some point.
