Is anyone working on the stress/physical effects of masturbation? 


 


Are there things you can to decrease your frequency of desire for it, to replenish yourself after you do it, and to decrease negative effects when you do it? What kind of chemicals are depleted that you can actually restore faster than taking a long nap? 


 


I honestly found that masturbation nukes/crushes whatever positive effects I get from yerba mate tea or ciltep. Still pretty worth it. It's just physically much more intense than any of those things which seem more subtle by comparison. 


 


I think the podcast with Tim Ferriss he said that 1. sex>masturbation for some reason biochemically 2. animals who masturbate more live shorter lives


 


Is anyone working on the stress/physical effects of masturbation? How do you manage it so you can still do it but it as not as disruptive?

    My "no masturbation streak" is currently at around 2 months or so, but who's counting?


    My greatest urge to mastubate comes in the morning upon waking up and when I'm watching porn. The former is inevitable, but the latter is not. I've stopped watching porn, and my urges have significantly waned.


    So, yeah, there's really no secret or special hack. It comes down to self discipline and avoiding situations that make you prone to whipping your cawk out and violently fapping.

    since i started taking zinc i ejaculate a lot less, don't really know why, i take l-optizinc everynight


    masturbated 2 times and had sex 1 time since supplementing it, almost no cum, strange

    I think Daveasprey said in a youtube vid that he did an experiment not jack off for a month and that his energy / clarity was good. But he wasn't as satisfied with life and was horny all the time which bothered him. 


     


    I thought taking propecia which I was taking anyway for hair would help. Did not make a huge difference.

    I think you'd have to form that habit on your own, without supplements. Avoid the situations in which you would masturbate for a week, repeat for as long as necessary until you can stop thinking about it.

    Exactly. There isn't a hack or supplements you can take for everything.


    Will power, coupled with avoiding immersing yourself situations that make you feel horny, is key.


    If you watch porn all day, of course you're going to feel the urge to fap.


    Not looking at females as sex objects also helps.
  • I have two tips how to stop masturbation completely, which work perfectly:


     


    1) Make yourself a rule to never ever touch your penis with your hand unless you are washing it or you are with a woman.


     


    2) When you feel the urge to masturbate, immediately go out for a short walk in the city, smile to some real woman walking by - at least for me that did it. I never had any urge to masturbate when there was any real woman in proximity.


     


    In my life the urges to masturbate only came when I was either: very stressed, feeling overwhelmed by things/tasks piling up, depressed or lonely.


     


    If you get rid of those things, urge to masturbate goes away. At least it did for me.


     


    Organizing my tasks into a list, now an application which always stores all my tasks and shows me what is the single next most important task to do - was a big part of it. Now I always know what to do next, so I do not feel overwhelmed by tasks, which lets me not stress. Stress, feeling overwhelmed was the single biggest thing that drove me to masturbation when I was doing it, once I got more organized the masturbation urges went away like magic.

    Bullshit. Sounds like a male specific problem. Sucks for you guys, but females definitely do not have this issue.

    My grandmother told me the reason women live longer than men is because men ejaculate. She wasn't a biohacker, no formal education, just lived an extraordinary life. I think she's right.

  • I just came off 444 days masturbation and porn free. My energy sucks now and the random desire to masturbate, which went away after a few months, is back semi regular now.
