It is not only the alcohol that has toxins in it, see the post Jason made. Like wodka has less toxins then red wine, even if it has the amount of of alcohol. So even though my wine was alcohol free, it still had a lot of toxins in it. Fwiw, reason I went buying alcohol free wine is that I did find that not everything evaporates. Too bad it was still toxic heavy apparently lol.
I heard that alcohol reduces your ability to metabolize fat by up to 50%.
Considering how much fat is consumed on this diet... that seems like bad news to me. I try to only drink once a week. But on that night I drink vodka and whiskey so I'm not saying that's good either.
