What do you guys usually eat if you practice once a week protein fasting?

So if you had a workout day and had your protein and carbs after, would a protein fast be ok the day after a workout day or would it be better to wait longer to make sure you were getting enough protein post workout?
I would wait because muscle repair and synthesis lasts longer than just the postworkout meal, it takes days, I would eat protein at least until the end of the day after. After all I'm usually sore for days after a good workout, that means the micro tears are still there, healing.
for me it works. I like training in ketosis with more food on that day and I have a refeed the next day. sometimes I may have training on protein fasting days. I put on less weight that way. I still gain muscle. I't hard on your body if you do protein fasting for a few days in a row. This is when I wouldn't recommend training....
This is kind of what I was thinking. Protein is the one thing I have not thought of purposely limiting, so this is a strange concept to me, but the muscle building is what I would be concerned about. It sounds like I should be ok doing this the day after a HI workout, just not after lifting.
