Newbie Needs Help!
Hi all! I'm almost done with the book but went ahead and started doing my version of BP Coffee in the morning a few days ago. I've been Paleo for the past 3 years and have been doing intermittent fasting for the past year. To change things up and to save my adrenals I wanted to give BP Intermittent Fasting a try. I had a few questions I haven't been able to find the answers to within the forums.
Since I'm not fond of the taste of coffee I've been using Crio Bru, which I just happened to find out has 1.5 carbs in a serving. It's brewed in a press and I add ghee and MCT oil when it's ready to blend. Will those 1.5 to 3 carbs (depending on how much I make for myself) break the purpose of the BP intermittent fast?
I'm considering using Puerh tea instead which, at least according to the label, has no carbs at all. Is that okay or should I stick with matcha green tea?
I know there is a BP Cacao Tea, but I haven't ordered it yet and wanted to get started asap, so I went with what I have.
Any help would be appreciated.
