Why Do I Feel So Amazing When I Do Intermittent Fasting?

I can't tolerate caffeine so I just do an intermittent water fast each day until about noon-1pm (from 8pm the night before).


By like 11am in the morning I am FLYING. I feel like I'm on a drug. I have so much energy, my mind is clear, it's quick, I'm a bit snappy and on edge but I feel friggin great!


Is this ketosis? If I do a ketogenic diet will I feel like this all the time?
