Herbal/spice Tea Optimal Steeping Temperature
I've been experimenting with blending spices and herbs with yerba mate to infuse additional anti-oxidant & anti-inflammatory compounds, however I've seen many different pieces of advice with regards to the best temperature to steep the tea at. I'm particularly focussed on time efficiency, so ideally I'd like the highest temperature without removing a sizeable portion of the benefits.

For those of you concerned about the mould toxins that's something I'm looking to address by using fresh produce, but mould isn't the focus of this post. That said, if you see any problems with the blend itself feel free to drop a footnote here or there.
