What Are Your Opinions On Apple Healthkit? And Wearables In General?

Wearables seem to be the new trend.  But have they evolved enough to be useful?


Have any of you been able to make meaningful use of apples healthkit iphone app?


Have any of the wearables you have used helped you improve your life? 


Or are these just more gimmick than substance?


  • I don't wear one because of the RF but hopefully that will change somehow over the next couple of years.

  • I think they have potential but it's just not realized.  I want a wearable that will advise if a muscle has been overtrained or where it is at present so I can avoid overtraining.  Until that comes out it's all crap to me.  No amount of advising of my heart rate or steps matters to me.
