I'm just beginning to experiment with Bulletproof intermittent fasting. I was wondering if I should still take my usual vitamins of fish oil and vitamin D on these days.
Thanks in advance.
Made a forum noob mistake: I posted this... THEN used the search function
I think I've got my answer, which is to NOT take any supplements, vitamins, etc. until my 1st meal... which is exactly what I've instinctively been doing.
Well where did you read that? If you count your Bulletproof Coffee as a meal I don't see why not. I mean BPC has fats in them so don't see why you can't take vitamins with it.
I don't think so. I take a handful of supps with my BPC every day. The MCT and butter/ghee are good carriers to introduce vitamins, herbs, and minerals deep into your body. Look at indian cusine they make a herbal honey/ghee spread called chavaprash that they say the GHEE/butter drives the medicinal herbs into the body better. Also if you look at liqu-gel & liposomal type supplements they often use MCT oil as a carrier ... I take turmeric every day with the coffee no fail as they say turmeric has a hard time absorbing into body but I belive the mct from BPC help this.
