Yoga Breathing And The Origins Of Heartmath Style Biofeedback

I've been using HeartMath for a few years now and was very curious as to where the HeartMath algorithm came from and what the science was behind it / what studies there were to back it up.


 


What I found was pretty cool - it turns out that HRV biofeedback (which HeartMath is derived from) was discovered through studying Yogis in india, and their breathing practices, health states and other physiological abilities that go beyond the norm.
