Clean Diet = Iron Stomach No More

So, I've been eating clean for about two years with minimal deviation. I have noticed in the last few months that foods I could have gotten away with are now problematic. I can't put a finger on specific ingredients as it's always food at restos or prepped by others. But I can say that sometimes I have to run for the bathroom other times where it's a minor infraction like eating cheese or corn I am just smelly and gassy. If I had to guess about the probelm source for the more severe issue I'd guess it's msg. Pre clean diet I could eat about anything and never had a problem, I prided myself on an iron stomach. Anyone else noticed a change like this?

    my guess is gut bacteria... the tough muthers that use to handle the crap have all gone,


    or at least are on holidays, just waiting for you to start eating crap again, then they will slowly return from their hols.... !
