Carbon Light Globes

Hope this is in the right place...

 

I am in Australia so we haven't had incandescent globes for years so zero chance of getting any. Our kitchen fluorescent light died the other day and we need to replace the fixture so trying to figure out the alternatives.

 

Does anyone know anything about the new carbon globes? I can't find anything on google positive or negative, just lots of places selling them.

 

Would like to know if they would be better than leds.

Halogen lights are another option...

iirc they are 'closer' to incandescent type bulbs,

something to look at... if they suit your application
