Insect Protein

This is something I'm becoming more interested in lately from a sustainable nutrition standpoint...resparked today by seeing this http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/2026629-billions-of-cicadas-expected-to-emerge-soon-in-northeastern-united-states/ as I live in PA currently.


 


I don't need to do it to save money, but I kinda like the idea of just shoveling a quater ton of insect protein into a freezer somewhere to munch on till the next 'outbreak'.


 


Curious if anyone has any experience or how it would be processed...nute value, etc
