Does adding collagen to your water or beverage during the day spike insulin at all since it's a protein, basically? I know that protein can, so anyone know about this? Thanks
it's possible. but whether it does or not for you, at a particular time, would be hard to say without testing.
you could probably use blood sugar testing as a proxy, if your blood sugar starts to rise after ingesting collagen, then you would expect a rise in insulin to follow... ?
edit: dose dependent as well i would presume
