Vaccines for Thailand

Hi all,

I am traveling to Thailand form the UK in July. I wanted to cover the topic of vaccines so that people traveling to Thailand can refer to this thread.

Questions:

1) A protocol before I get the accines (to build a better immune system)

2) A protocol to follow-up after vaccines.

3) Vaccines you should avoid? If any.

  • I've been three times to Thailand from the UK and never had a vaccine!

    Rabies perhaps...depends on what you're up to & where you travel

    fake it till you make it

  • @katolotus did you go the monkey island and all that?

    I'm looking to do the monkey island and elephant ride etc etc

    I have heard of people going and not getting any vaccines. So I'm deciding whether to chance it or not.

    @daz ^ and I'll be going Phuket

    don't feed the monkeys (I presume there are monkeys on monkey island).
    Better still, don't feed any animals.

    fake it till you make it

  • @daz good idea I can hear they can get aggressive if you have food
