New mattress

Evening lads,

I'm in need of a new mattress, and the longer I search the more confused I get.
Moreover, whenever I find a suitable non-toxic mattress, it's:

  • Too Expensive; or
  • not shipped to the EU; or
  • not reviewed for actual sleep quality.

This one seems fine, it's just that it does contain dense PU foam base too.

Any suggestions?

  • Ugh... I feel for you, I do. I'm only here to bump this thread. It's rough out there. I'm on my 5th mattress in several months, and they have all sucked. Please keep us posted!

I hear latex is good for mattresses,
To save some money, you can get a Latex Topper & stick it on top of an old/existing mattress.

fake it till you make it

  • Stopped looking for mine for a while.
Have you found your mattress yet @Mrsfloyd?
There seems to be some formula named Purotex, small boxes that release probiotics upon moving.
Apparently, they eat dust mite waste, which seems intriguing to my Hyperallergic self.

I had the same need a few weeks ago. For a long time, I was looking for a suitable one and still in doubt. I choose one of these https://talkaboutsleep.com/best-mattress-for-neck-pain/ because I have a problem with the neck.

You said you know about the mattresses that kill the dust mite waste? Is this true or are they just being developed?
