Blueberry Best Practice
I haven't been eating fruit for a very long while because of yeast issues and just a general problem with sugar consumption. I just realized I can handle large amounts of freshly picked berries. I know if you freeze berries, they should theoretically retain the correct sugar/antioxidant profile. However, when I UNFROZE them and ate some, they were very sweet and made me feel very sick. Eating them frozen gave me a stomach-ache too. How can I retain that fresh-picked health restorative that these wonderful foods give me? It is very important, because I have a chronic autoimmune illness that was very greatly reduced even up to 48 hours after consuming them. Please help me find a way to eat berries throughout the year.
