I just started BP coffee today using collagen. I also ate a lemon bar this evening. Is it ok to ingest so much collagen in one day??
i've had experiences with too much collagen giving me kidney stones. ie hydroxyproline and certain other amino acids in collagen can do that if you don't detox properly. ie they turn into oxalic acid in your body according to the research i did online. but then again, everyone is different. eat lots of greens, and use lemons and glutathione to detox, and i've found it's most important to take glutamine (free form) because i noticed my kidney stones stopped when i did.
