Post Workout Protein Shake

What kind of macronutrient ratios do you guys target for your post workout shake to stay in keto?
What sources of fat do you add to the shake?

Recipe suggestions would also be greatly appreciated!

Don't know if it helps but I'm a 22 yo male, 6'2" and 190 lbs

  • My routine is pretty light.
    I do strength training, primarily. 5 sets 5 reps of 60-75% max for about an hour 3x a week. I do that in the late afternoon. (4-5pm)
    I'll do 15-20 HIIT cardio workouts 2x a week and walk/stretch for an hour or so the other 2 days.

    I would suggest 25g protein 50g carb and then go back to ketosis diet an hour later.

  • Thanks "Jason Miller"! Would you recommend an exogenous ketone supplement to get back into keto quick or just a high-fat meal with some MCT oil?

  • not 100% familiar with keto diet but isoflex is a great protein because it has 27g of protein and only 1g of carbs https://www.samedaysupplements.com/isoflex-by-allmax-nutrition.html
