Bulletproof diet safe for those over 60?

I'm about to begin Bulletproof and my grandmother (79) has been trying to lose weight for years now and can't seem to drop any numbers on the scale. She eats healthy and lives a fairly active lifestyle for her age and I'm considering bringing this diet up to her to do with me.

Obviously consulting with a doctor is the priority, but does anyone know if this diet could be suitable for someone her age?

  • Why is consulting a doctor a priority? What are you hoping for? Approval? Doctors knowledge of food and diet is near zero. How about letting your grandmother try the diet and see how she feels. Trust her body to let her know and go from thee.

  • Older people have eaten more fat than our generation...eating the bulletproof way just might feel quite familiar to some.
