Headstrong breakfast

Hello guys,

I am currently reading the headstrong book for the second time and here is a big confusion I have noticed. On one hand Dave says that since the bulletproof coffee doesn’t contain any carbs nor proteins, the body will think that you are fasting and will therefore create more ketons in the morning; however, the recipe he then explains contains collagen protein powder..?? How does that confirm the first statement? I would appreciate your help on this.

  • The bulletproof intermittent fast would be without the collagen, but every once in awhile collagen could be added to change things up. Some people add it on training days or the day after training day.
