Baby's first foods- Allergens
Hi- My baby is 5.5 months old and I'm curious about when and what foods people began their children on. With my first child, I exclusively breastfed for 6months and then continued while we followed infant-led-weaning Weston A Price style (bone broth, egg yolk, pastured meat, then veggies, fruit, etc.). I'm curious about the strong- more recent data- indicating that exposing children to highly allergenic food early and often is favorable in terms of preventing allergies (peanuts, dairy, whole egg,wheat, etc.) Normally I would avoid these "non-bulletproof" choices, especially for an infant, but the science on allergies is compelling. Thoughts?
