Avocados & Eating Latex Foods Picked Before Ripe

Can anyone confirm or contest this information?  I read nothing but good things about avocados...


In Dr. Glen Aukerman's book, Better Health in 120 Days, he says that we all should avoid 5 latex-like fruits - avocados, bananas, figs, celery and kiwi.  "They always retain a latex-like protein, which enhances allergies and chemical sensitivities and suppresses the immune system."  Other fruits that ripen after picked are ok to eat if they are picked when they are ripe.  I've searched wide for additional information on this, but I cannot find anything.  The only thing close is that people with latex allergies should avoid certain fruits.
