Alternatives To Butter?

I love my mornings now that I drink BP coffee, I have lost loads of weight and am approaching my ideal weight for my height without exercise - but I think I am becoming allergic to dairy. I'm getting some issues with brain fog and becoming wheezy. When I leave out the butter from my BP coffee the problems go away but I love the butter and it seems to help with stomach inflammation also.


 


I tried making ghee (boiling off the milk solids etc) the reaction is not as severe but still builds up after a few days, is there any decent alternative to butter?


or can I add a butyrate supplement to my coffee?


 


I can't face life with normal coffee again  :/

    I'm suffering the same problems - I haven't tried ghee as yet but I'm hoping it works. I too would hate BPC without butter!

    kanoobe, I have the same issues. I went and purchased some organic ghee that stated no casein but there must be enough trace amounts that had a negative effect, as after about a week the wheezies kicked in and I felt like total crap. I also want my bulletproof coffe as well. I purchased the Nutiva brand and love the taste and consitency and the health benefits are awesome. I think even superior to cocunut oil and butter. It is now my go to oil. Check it out ...I think it will be a great option for you.
