    Watch this webinar: http://www.smartpassiveincome.com/webinar-replay-100623/

Download the free trial of Market Samurai.. I've been playing with it at home over the last few days. It will help you to find the keywords that people are really looking for about their gut issues.

Then you can write some articles that focus on those topics with the aim of getting that search traffic!

Yeah a podcast would give your site a voice. You have at least 3 episodes to publish if Evan will let you post them as your podcast episodes - the same as if there was a guest blog post ;-)

  • Try to write some articles for other highly trafficked sites so they link to you. Lew Rockwell does a lot of health related stuff, maybe he'd post one of your articles. Maybe you could get a link from natural news also?

  • hybridhybrid Cateye vs Isolation
    Include web in signature.

The web could use more text formating and images to the articles. There is something about the websites overall sexiness that should be adressed.

Podcast is a great idea. Get some key speakers and let their status drip onto you. Interview people that are not on the radar.
  • The large red letters kind of scream at you, and you do a good job breaking up the text but maybe a few pictures would help.

I think the theme is too white as well. The marigold and red colors do not mesh well IMO.

Also, 4 hour work week by Tim Ferriss is good at hacking your work habits as well as providing a lot of marketing ideas.  It is not a membership thing or an exclusive  $1000 package you sometimes find online. It's probably under 20 bucks at a local bookstore.  His website is awesome too.  Good luck.

I have wanted to do everything everyone had mentioned and more. I am still for the time being going to be on Evan's podcast. He is a great guy personally, and I am thankful to him for the exposure. I might set myself up one in a years time.

I am going to add more pictures and look into changing the formatting as well. I plan to add a forum after the book is launched next month.

Thank you everyone for the words if wisdom and support.

Well, that worked. Got you one new view from me. I'll check it out and spread the word.

In April I saw a meme on a friends FB page wih Rogans quote about not a gun problem/ mental health problem. That got me to check out his podcast. Checking out back episodes I caught Dave's and Robb Wolf's shows and that peaked my interests into paleo life. That led me to other great podcast and this site.

I cycle between Evan, Wolf, paleo hack, and Daves podcast ( had to take a break from JRE) really liked the ones your were on with Evan, he seems like a great guy and has had a lot of different guest that have their own podcast. He might be a great way to get a guest spot on other shows. Hosting your own would be good, but I would think that starting out, doing as many guest spots as you can would open you up to a fresh audience.

So from my experience strange roads can lead people to where they need to be. If a "comedy" show can lead me to paleo. Any and every show you can get on will help spread the word on what you have to share.

I would like to see some more general health-related content from you. I understand that your website is primarily about fixing gut issues but many of the protocols are also very specific and complex. Not everyone is in need of that information at the moment, and many of those that are don't even realize it. I feel that you have a ton of knowledge on a bunch of other health-related topics bottled up inside you, and unleashing some of that knowledge onto your blog would help to attract a broader audience who may then be converted into realizing that they actually do need GERD treatment or are able to take some further steps to improve their Mitochondria, or that they have been supplementing with the wrong form of magnesium all along.

One topic I would definitely be interested to see more about is the gut-brain-heart connection and how they interact/communicate with each other, and how you can work on improving one to help improve the others, etc.

Other than that, as recommended by others I think your own podcast in the future would be a good idea. In the mean time why not just put up a page that links to the podcasts that you have been a guest on so far. If a large number of your visitors keep clicking on the link called "Podcast" on your website then that would be a very good indication that there is a high demand for that and it would be worth your while to set up. It may also make you more approachable for other podcast hosts.

Lastly, a Facebook page. Alternatively, a Facebook discussion group. Just a way for your readers to either interact with you or to interact with each other without you needing to go to the hassle of setting up an actual discussion forum on your website.

I was just coming back to say a fb page GGS beat me to it. Would be good for also posting headlines with links to your new blog postings. By someone liking that post it shows up in their friends news feed when that person likes or shares what you posted. Might be good to help spread your word.

EDIT. Was just reading "Opinion: Buying Supplements Local, The Pros and Cons" and was thinking that was a good write up to share. I've seen sites/blogs that have a little menu on that page to share the article with icons for fb,twitter, tumbler, or email. Not sure what that's called but just a thought.
  • I was thinking about it and I have set up forums on websites before.  One thing I have noticed on mine and others websites is that you need a critical mass before you make a forum.   A small, barely used forum looks kind of sad and is a turn off for people even though you might have many regular visitors.  I am really impressed with this forum.  People actually know what they are talking about mostly and it is very active.  If you want a business model look at what Dave has done.
