Bp Virgin Eggnog

For one serving:


 


4 eggs


1.5 cups of milk or milk alternative


1 tsp of stevia (You might want to use more, I don't like it all that sweet.)


1 pinch of ground vanilla


cinnamon and nutmeg to taste


1 tbsp of MCT oil


Melt a tbsp of butter and add it in if you want


 


Whisk or blend together and enjoy. You could heat it but then it'd be less bp because you'll probably cook the eggs, it's up to you. There are recipes using cream but I don't use cream for anything so I don't have any. If you wanted you could involve grass fed cream.

    you should change the title to "virgin eggnog" because it's not bp, if you subbed the dairy for coconut cream or just put eggnog spices in the "get some" ice cream and ommitted the freezing part then it would be.

    What if it was unsweetened coconut milk? Other than the milk I don't see what else in the recipe is not bp.

    That's why I only mentioned the milk, it is by far the main ingredient and red zone.

  • I decided to give it a go. Here's what I came up with:


     


    2 eggs


    125ml coconut milk


    75ml water


    15ml MCT Oil


    Sweetener to taste (I used two tiny scoops of the stevia I have which is pretty concentrated, i think one tiny scoop is meant to be equivalent to a teaspoon of sugar)


    Shake of nutmeg (I have no idea if there's supposed to be a lot)


    Shake of cinnamon.


     


    It doesn't taste like conventional eggnog (the coconut milk will do that I imagine) but it's pretty tasty. Fits into a magic bullet cup well.


    Next time I might go with a bit more coconut miilk and less water, or maybe just add more coconut milk to the existing recipe because there's room in the cup. It doesn't seem thick enough.

  • I didn't know what to expect out of it. Gotta start with something and tweak it. :)


    I made more today, used more coconut milk and less water, and it came out more like a consistency I wanted.
