Coconut Milk Doesn't Seem Very Bulletproof

Hey everyone,


 


Today I was looking at liquids that I could put in a protein shake instead of water, because, water sucks in a protein shake. I noticed that coconut milk is in the green on the BP infographic. Yippy ki yay I thought. Then I did some searching and it seems that coconut milk is VERY inflammatory:

1 cup of coconut milk is just about as inflammatory as 100g of sugar!


 


Hopefully I'm missing something, but if this is true, it shouldn't be on the green side of things.
