Wikipedians Say Canola Oil Is Good For You; Dave Asprey Says You Should Avoid It. Who's Right?

Here's the Wikipedia article on canola oil. It says various groups tout the health benefits of canola oil.

Dave Asprey disagrees. In step 4 of the plan to go bulletproof, Dave Asprey recommends eliminating all grain-derived oils: From what I gather, that's because of the omega-6 content.

So I'm wondering, if the negative health effects of canola oil are so clear, why is canola oil endorsed by the American Dietetic Association, the American Heart Association and the FDA?
