Wikipedians Say Canola Oil Is Good For You; Dave Asprey Says You Should Avoid It. Who's Right?

Here's the Wikipedia article on canola oil. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canola#Health_information. It says various groups tout the health benefits of canola oil.

Dave Asprey disagrees. In step 4 of the plan to go bulletproof, Dave Asprey recommends eliminating all grain-derived oils: http://www.bulletproofexec.com/start-the-bulletproof-diet/. From what I gather, that's because of the omega-6 content. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omega-6_fatty_acid#Negative_health_effects.

So I'm wondering, if the negative health effects of canola oil are so clear, why is canola oil endorsed by the American Dietetic Association, the American Heart Association and the FDA?
