I Want To Get Back Into A Diet Like This

I did it last year, lost a whole bunch of weight and felt the best I ever did in my life.  All my skin and stomach problems cleared up, I actually had days where I woke up feeling rested (I can't remember another time this happened in the past 13 or so years).  When I had reached a healthy weight for my height, I went off of ketosis in fear of losing too much weight.  Sadly I went back into the bad habit of eating high sugar foods etc.  Over time, I started to get bad reactions again and now I want to try again.


I have some concerns.  Just how long should someone remain in ketosis?  I felt great while I was in it, but should I remain in ketosis for the rest of my life?

What will happen to my weight?  I don't want to become underweight.


Can I still feel energetic the way I did before but by not being in ketosis?  I heard carbs make you feel tired and sluggish.


Sorry if some of these questions sound stupid.  I'm really concerned about becoming healthy again and want to make sure I know what I'm getting into.
