Collagen Powder At Bedtime

Just reading dave's book and in his section on sleep, he recommends taking 1 to 2 tablespoons of his Collagen protein powder before bed. This sounds like a great idea in terms of assisting in muscle repair which happens at night, but I'm wondering whether this interferes with the overnight fast?


  • From my experience here when I've seen this question asked, it was answered with an "it's negligible/fine".  You shouldn't have any problems.

  • Two tablespoons of collagen is like 11g of protein.  Don't worry about it.
