Newbie To Noots. Is This Normal?

Hey guys,

I am new to the nootropics scene. I had tried Alpha Brain a while back and loved that, but was so expensive that I never kept up. Just recently found cheaper methods, like I am sure you all have, and decided to buy powders and make my own stacks.

Right now, I am trying 10-20mg of Noopept and 300-400mg of Alpha GPC per dose with some Bulletproof Yerba Mate. I also take this with my vitamins in the morning ( Vitamin A, Vitamin C, K2, Folinic acid and b-12, and vitamin d-3). When I take it I feel great! I am focused, alert, and lots of energy, but I seem to get these bouts of yawning, and I am not physically tired.

I haven't found much on it, but I did find one little tidbit of info that suggested choline depletion. Have you guys encountered this symptom at all? Any suggestions or advice would be very helpful.

Hard to say, but I like the theory where yawning is supposed to 'cool the brain', which would fit your scenario.

I have been yawning when not tired for as long as I can remember and have not found anything that either makes it less or more.

  • Thanks for the response. I am prone to that too at times. Maybe I am just paying more attention to things now because I am trying to gauge how I feel and just associating it with this when it has been there all along. Always a possibility.
