Bulletproof Coffee And Chocolate
So, I have been eating some dark chocolate each morning for the past couple of months. Initial instructions with this process were to avoid dairy (milk products) for an hour and a half to give the body time to utilize the antioxidants in the chocolate, as milk protein blocks or destroys the antioxidants. I have since read that this is true for most if not all antioxidants, not just those in dark chocolate.
So the question is, is there sufficient milk protein in grass-fed butter to ruin the antioxidants in the dark chocolate? I know that there is no protein rating on the package, but I don't know for sure this indicates there is no protein in there at all.
I have not been able to find a suitable answer elsewhere, so I thought I'd start here.
