Fighting Arthrosis - Can You Actually Rebuild Cartilage?
I have friend, a women at 50 years of age, and due to sport accidents and years of work partly on her knees, is at the brink of a knee-replacement surgery.
Now she asked me if there are any diet/lifestyle/supplement recommendations to help either the knee that is about to be replaced OR the other knee that is hurting more and more because she had been stressing it more and more to keep weight of the broken knee.
So far I have recommended a low inflammation diet in order to loose weight
collagen and vitamin C.
All surgeons she went to told her that there is no real chance and a replacement is needed.
Are there ANY good studies/cases that "proof" that you could save her from surgery with stuff like ozon therapy, the right nutrients and other "stuff"?!?
Hence,... IS there any way to REALLY regrow cartilage?
What has been done so fare was to thrill little holes into the bone in the knee to try to stimulate some stem cell regrowth etc. but that has not worked so far.
Thx a lot
