Dave Whilst Reducing - What Food Amounts Then?

I've been on a podcast binge, ripping through nearly all in the span of a few weeks. So, suffice it to say that a lot of the things Dave is known to use as sound bites are REALLY loud in my head right now. image/icon_e_smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

That makes me wonder about a few things, but I'll get right to one of them - yeah, we all here definitely get the 4000-4500 daily for two years to maintain 210 lbs. Dave, while you were losing (going from 300+ down to 200), what were you eating then?

Same food in smaller proportions? If yes, how much smaller - like 2500Kcal daily or more like 1500? Did you *gasp* have to count calories? I am most definitely curious about this.... thanks!
