Like the effect the glasses have before bed. Don't like taking them off to wash my face as it feels like someone's just turned on a bright light.

My favorite lenses are rose-colored - I could wear them all day...and if I need to sleep, I just drink Oat Straw tea or take Melissa essential oil and I'm out shortly after.
I just bought some green lenses (because I liked the frames) and I feel really relaxed when I wear them. I'm going to try the orange lenses that M. Thomas and katolotus posted up and compare....
I had to chuck my UVEX Skypers out, cause they got scratched and became annoying to watch TV with. I think I'll have to invest in some good quality ones. Any suggestions?
Isn't it more about the blue light blocking abilities more than the actual colour of the lenses. As long as they're blocking 100% of blue light, they'll do the job to help you get ready to sleep.
The glasses I've posted a link to are 100% blocking, you can order different colours and shading and still get the 100%. You don't want to be ordering just a colour that won't block the light. As I've made that mistake twice! ;-)
also, wow, the difference this makes is pretty remarkable. after having had them on for an hour and a half or so, i really start feeling myself get sleepy. i used to lay down on my son's bed while he would get out his pajamas and wait till he was ready for me to help him with his shirt (he still struggles with getting shirts on and off). can't do that now or i'm snoring before he's ready for me.
depends if you can find the right product at the right price with cheap shipping. Not much point in buying the wrong item because the shipping's cheap!

Do this works even though they don't cover the sides?
My partner bought me a pair of polarised sunnies for driving. I thought "oh, cool, amber lenses... I wonder how much blue light they block..." within about 90 minutes of driving, I started getting sleepy. It was only 5pm! Doubt they do 100% - so I've got some proper ones on order as these are a bit too dark to wear around the house at night
Only need to wear mine for an hour or so and I'm starting to feel sleepy. Plus feeling pretty cool walking around in the evening in sunglasses. Getting off to sleep within 20mins every night at the moment and getting some good quality sleep.

Third times a charm.

Wearing mine for an hour or so every night before bed and finding the same. Get tired and sleepily fairly quickly. Great purchase.

Hi, im looking for some glasses and I got into this page from panlees. They seem quite cheap plus I can get them free shipped from dealextreme
I was thinking about this http://www.panlees.com/en/products_view.asp?id=299
or
http://www.panlees.com/en/products_view.asp?id=336
http://dx.com/p/panlees-po565-outdoor-replaceable-polarize-pc-lens-tr90-frame-uv-protection-goggles-silver-grey-193527
since I want to be able to go outside without looking weird haha.
Do you recommend any from that page?
Are any of those blue light blocking? Doesn't look like they are. I bought 2 sets that weren't before I got a correct pair.

According to dealextreme:
However, I emailed the support services at panless and they weren't sure if it will block about 90% of blue light.
They only told me that they glasses met the standar ANSI Z87.1.
Mine block 100%.

you mean this ones?
http://www.optimalowvision.co.uk/product.cfm?prod=1022&dept=910
They both meet the ANSI Z87.1.?
Not sure what you mean by meeting ANSI Z87.1. (i'm no expert)
but it's 100% Blue light protection

Ones that look like these are like 15 bucks. Hangover helpers!

Those last ones are more $$$. Could have sworn Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) had some on as well.
Seems more competitive shooters/archers seem to use them as well.
Good find!
These are cheap postage wise from the US.

Pretty sure they'll be ok as long as you don't look out of the sides too much.
You just using them to help with sleep? Couple of hours before bed?

yes
And what about napping? should I wear them at midday?. Or should I let my body handle the blue light?
I always get sleepy at midday and I end up napping anyway, but it is good to know.

By the way. I think I'll go for this.
What do you think?
That's above my pay grade ;-)

English is not my native language
Those are the same ones I just ordered to try but I have not got them yet. They are a bit cheaper though on Amazon, if you are interested http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000USRG90/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
above my pay grade means 'I have no idea, you'll need to find someone who knows more'.

Hahah I was thinking about the price
Well, I'll wait for your feedback then
Get These if you don't wear glasses, or these if you do.
The transmission charts at http://rs.nationalsafetyinc.com/company_79//UvexLensTechnology.pdf show that it entirely blocks the wavelengths of blue light we care about.
In Europe its not possible to get it.
Do you think Ultra Spec I are usefull to over the graduated glasses ?. They say it has blue light protection but it has yellow glass.
