Wellnessfx Vs. Insidetracker

I'm looking to get a comprehensive blood test to check up on all my essential biomarkers. So far it seems that there are three popular options: WellnessFX, InsideTracker, and Talking20. Talking20 isn't up and running yet, so I'm trying to decide between the first two.

WellnessFX is definitely much more comprehensive but costs $529 for the performance package. InsideTracker's performance package is $299 but much more limited. I'm trying to figure out if I'll be missing out on any essential biomarkers if I go the cheaper route. I figure I'll be much more likely to keep getting tested in the future (every 4 months ideally) if the price isn't too crazy.

If I go with InsideTracker, here is what I'd be missing compared to WellnessFX:

Total Bilirubin

Total Protein

Carbon Dioxide

Total Iron Binding Capacity

Dehydroepiandrosterone Sulfate (DHEA)

Free Testosterone

Cortisol (blood)

IGF-1 (Growth Hormone surrogate)

And if I go with WellnessFX, here is what I'd be missing compared to InsideTracker:

creatinine kinase?

I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to blood work and biomarkers, so I'm not sure which of these are actually essential to keep track of and take action on, and which are just to impress consumers with vasts amounts of data.

Any suggestions?

  • Well I've decided to go with wellnessfx, just for the sake of being comprehensive, and since this is the first blood test I've ever gotten. I'll report back and let you know how my experience goes.

  • anyone else want to weigh in on this topic? i'm kind of thinking about getting one of these tests done. i'm feeling more and more like taking supplements without having any idea if i'm deficient in something or taking too much of something. plus i do have some history of health issues in my family so it'd just be a good idea.

  • it would be good to see: bp recommended tests, linking with bp recommended nutrition tracking, linking with bp recommended diet corrections / supplementation

then going the whole hog - and linking with ongoing multiple modality biofeedback work.

If anyone wants to start a thread, the community can then add onto it over there?
