Regular 5-Htp Supplementation?

I find that 100mg of 5-HTP does wonders for my stress/anxiety. I take is "as needed", maybe 1-2 times per week, maybe a little less. Are there any downsides to supplementing with 5-HTP? Are there alternatives I should be looking at instead?

    Yeh, the UG podcast is good. I have been taking nootropics for years now.

    No, there are no down sides to taking 5-HTP, it is a supplement not a drug as it does not have the side effects drugs have.
